Continuing the successful programme of LSP Business seminars, we are pleased to announce the next in the series: 'ANY QUESTIONS'.

The seminar is designed to provide you with an opportunity to ask a panel of professionals crucial questions on finance, tax credits and IP (please see the full programme below).  There will also be an opportunity for you to have a one-on-one surgery with the visiting panel members to discuss your own questions and issues.  Lunch will be provided.

PROGRAMME

Brian McCann is a Corporate Finance Adviser and Chartered Accountant.  His business, Vanguard Corporate Finance is based here in Liverpool Science Park and works with fast-growing businesses who are raising finance, considering growth by acquisition and ultimately looking for exit. 

Peter Lunt is a Commercial Technology Manager with the Royal Bank of Scotland Group. A marketing professional with broad financial experience. Heads up a dynamic team of Commercial Relationship Managers specialising in the technology and growth sectors in the Liverpool City Region.

Andrew Lloyd is a tax partner in the Liverpool office of Baker Tilly where he heads up the taxation team.  His own specialism is in the area of Corporate Taxes and he has over 20 years' experience in advising a wide range of locally-based businesses in planning to maximise the tax reliefs available and hence minimise tax liabilities.  He is a regular speaker on tax-related matters.

Mark Shipley is an intellectual property and IT lawyer with an untraditional approach. He started up Shipley Solicitors over two and a half years ago and has been based here at LSP for most of that time. The seven strong boutique practice is already recognised for its quality and unique take on service provision. 

George Steele is a Consultant for The Harrison Partnership who specialise in technology grants, innovation and new market opportunities. He covers technology and marketing aspects of R & D grant applications. He has previously managed the multi-million pound budget for technology grants in the North West Region and has a deep understanding of the questions asked and the answers required.
